I'll Wait Up For You Dude...

Sure, role reversals are common in movies (maybe a little too common), but one place where it's rare is in Christmas music. This year's slew of Christmas albums graced us with two songs that particularly struck me with the unusual reversals they provided.

Off their album "A Very She and Him Christmas", this twosome innovated the classic "Baby, It's Cold Outside" by switching the usual parts sung by the man and woman:

Michael Bublé brought us the gem that is his rendition of "Santa Baby". To my knowledge, very few men have done versions of this song, but with a few appropriate changes to the lyrics, it sort of works. He does win points for calling Santa Claus "dude". Glorious.

Happy holidays!
